An extremely rare tetradrachm of Pescennius Niger from Antioch

SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Pescennius Niger, 193-194. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 10.90 g, 1 h). [A]YTOK KAICAP Γ ΠECK NIΓPω ΔI Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Pescennius Niger to right, seen from behind. Rev. [ΠPON]OIA Θω (sic!) Eagle standing front, wings spread and head to right, on club (?). McAlee 655A = NAC 39 (2007), 132 (same dies). Prieur 177-181 var. (differing obverse legends and eagle standing on a leg of an animal or palm). Of the highest rarity, apparently only the second known example. Nicely toned and with an excellent portrait. Somewhat rough, otherwise, good very fine.
